    Acclimatization & Growing On

On receipt, check labels, container seals and the condition of the plantlets before transfer. Prepare clean trays and an aerated substrate. Protect newly transferred material from rapid moisture loss, then increase ventilation as the plants establish.

Handle the soft leaves and pseudostems carefully on receipt. Establish plantlets in a warm, protected area with drainage and enough space for new leaves to expand. Do not use the dimensions of a developed banana plant as the grading standard for in-vitro material.
